the night before the fair

I took a walk around the state fair entrance area on Snelling last night just as it was getting dark. I wanted to see--and capture--what it looked like the night before the fair opened. I like the way that these entrance booths look without anyone inside and before the crowds arrive. Sort of ghostly. I'm going tonight for the opening with the Flaming Lips and Sonic Youth. I guess it'll look a little different then. Bring on the cheese . . .
